THE VILLA MARIA SCHOOL HOSTS PRESENTATION ON
NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING IN CHILDREN

What: As part of Villa Maria’s 40th Anniversary Speaker Series, the school will host an informative presentation on Neuropsychological Evaluation and Executive Processing in Children, featuring Dr. Gregory Javornisky. This seminar will help parents understand what a neuropsychological exam entails, how it helps assess specific areas of a child’s functioning areas, and how an exam can help professionals provide corrective intervention to meet a child’s specific needs.
Who: Dr. Javornisky is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at Pediatric Neuropsychology Associates in Glastonbury. He provides children and adolescents with neuropsychological evaluations to assess concerns such as seizures and head injuries, learning disabilities, ADHD, and executive processing and memory disorders.
Previously, Dr. Javorinsky worked at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Newington Children’s Hospital, and consulted in pediatric Neurosurgery at Yale University School of Medicine.
