Giving Fund
Villa Maria has much to celebrate this year. In our 36th year, Villa Maria continues to provide an opportunity and environment that motivates and nurtures young students who learn differently. As in years past, these students, who struggled in their previous schools, learn the skills and attitudes they need to be successful in their classes and in life.
In recognition of this achievement, the State Department of Education has renewed the school’s recognition as an approved special education school, and the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools has granted Villa Maria full accreditation with enthusiasm. We are justly proud of our students and the dedicated teachers who have made this possible.
One can't help but be impressed by the creative work in which students and teachers are engaged. We applaud the commitment to community service fostered by our social skills curriculum and we are amazed by the flourishing talents displayed in the art, music and drama classes.

Villa Maria is grateful to the many parents, faculty, staff, grandparents, trustees, alumni and friends who have demonstrated their faith in us by supporting the Fund in previous years. Those gifts have provided the capital so necessary for financial aid, for faculty and staff development, for access to the latest technology, for enhancement of enrichment opportunities in music and drama, and for maintaining and improving school facilities.
The stronger the Annual Giving Fund, the better equipped Villa Maria is to provide a superior educational environment for our children with learning difficulties.
We realize that today’s economy means this may be a difficult year financially for many of our families and benefactors but we ask that you consider the direct impact your gift has on the everyday lives of our students.
