I am delighted that you are interested in learning more about Villa Maria School. This is an exceptional school, where learning is as unique as every child. Villa Maria is an independent, K-9 day school for students with at least average intelligence and a unique learning style. The school is committed to providing a quality education in a structured, supportive environment, where students with a learning disability can learn and realize their full potential.
Villa Maria provides a diagnostically driven individualized education program for our students. Our goal is to help students improve their basic academic skills in reading, language and mathematics, so that they will be prepared to transition to a mainstream educational setting, whether that be a local public or traditional private school.
Currently, students come to Villa Maria from 15 New York and 16 Connecticut towns and cities. This year, need-based tuition assistance has been awarded to 24 percent of the families in our community.
